Your IPad Should Be Working For You
The iPad is the greatest innovation of these last few years. One of the biggest reasons for this is that it is so big and small at the same time. It can be used for work or for playing games. The iPad is only limited by the imaginations of those who use it. Read the article that follows to know that you’re getting the most out of it.
It is possible to gain access to all apps that are currently running on your iPad. To see the currently running apps, just tap the Home button twice and you can see them quite clearly. Just click the app you wish to switch to, if you so desire. Make this bar disappear by making a downward swipe on your screen.
You can reset your iPad if you see that it is frozen. Hold both the home and power buttons to get your device to reload. The device will restart. If you wish for an app to be forcefully closed, hold your home button down for a couple of seconds.
Iphone Charger
Don’t use the iPhone charger for the iPad if you don’t have enough time. Your iPad doesn’t have the same wattage as your iPhone which is 10 watts as opposed to 5 watts on the phone. Charging with an iPhone charger will take far more time. Use the original charger instead.
A lot of people find it difficult to type on tablets, but over time, it gets easier. The iPad does offer a dictation feature, however. Simply push home twice and a small microphone will pop up. After you’re through dictating, you can hit the icon once again and text will start appearing.
Bookmarks Bar
Do you find it irritating that you have to constantly tap your bookmarks icon to view your favorite sites? You can eliminate this annoyance by turning the bookmarks bar on permanently. Start with Settings, then choose Safari. You will see an option for always showing your bookmarks bar. Enable it to the On position.
If you find yourself in a situation where you must mute sound on your iPad, try this trick. Just hold down the volume down button for a couple seconds. That works faster than continuing to adjust your volume. Hold the button once more and the volume will return to the former setting.
If you want to copy text on your device, push on the wording that you want and hit Select. Select Copy, change to another app, and then select and hold again. You will see a menu appear that gives you the option to “paste.” When you want to copy an entire paragraph, just give it four good taps.
It is possible to copy and paste words using your iPad. Tap the text and hold down on it if you wish to copy it. A menu will pop up allowing you to select that sentence. Tap once again, and you’ll see that the text is highlighted. Choose copy after this. Then, tap and hold for a few seconds and choose Paste.
Turning on auto brightness can extend battery life. Using this option, your iPad can adjust its lighting to match the lighting where you are. This method lets you manipulate how much battery power goes to screen illumination, which means you get to go longer between recharges. Locate this setting in the area that is labeled “Brightness & Wallpaper”.
iTunes lets you sync documents with your computer. Sharing documents isn’t a pain anymore and being able to interact with nearly any home computer using iTunes is incredibly helpful. You can email PDF’s and then download them to another computer.
Like most computers and electronics, the new iPad comes with pre-installed apps that are of no use to you. However, many of these can’t be deleted. One way to get them out of your hair is to create a new page of apps and put all of the preloaded apps you don’t use into a folder on that page. This helps keep them out of your way.
iPad features are limitless. This is able to be used by everyone in the family. Educate yourself about all of its capabilities and how to properly maintain it. Once you learn to properly operate your iPad, you will be shocked at how much it improves your life.
